GROWS for students
GROWS is a collaborative network of six Gloucestershire based universities and colleges. It is led by the University of Gloucestershire in partnership with:
- Royal Agricultural University (RAU)
- Gloucestershire College (GC)
- Cirencester College
- Hartpury University
- South Gloucestershire & Stroud College (SGS)
We are funded by the Office for Students (OfS) to deliver the national Uni Connect Programme. Our main aim is to help you understand more about your future educational options and how to make the right choices for you.
In collaboration with our partners, we run events and activities. They focus on educational pathways and what life and study is like at further and higher education. We also create resources such as workbooks and information guides to support you to understand more about your choices at 16 and 18.
Our website is full of useful information designed to help you think about where you would like to be in the future, and how to get there. It also signposts to other websites that can help you make decisions about where you want to go in life, and how to get there.
A lot of our work and activities are for young people who attend certain schools in Gloucestershire. Our work aims to remove the academic, financial and cultural barriers to higher education to ensure that all young people, irrespective of circumstance, have the information, skills and support to achieve their ambitions.
