This workshop is based on the topic of grass and its amazing properties. In groups, students will carry out plate metering to determine the amount of grass in a set area (which they will measure as well) and then calculate how many cows or sheep they can graze for 24 hours on that area. They will also calculate how much dry matter is in the grass.
